On Saturday (yesterday at the time of this writing) I had the pleasure of photographing Megan and Austin’s wedding at the Andover Country Club in Andover, MA. They are such a beautiful couple; the bride in particular has striking blue eyes. I could tell that a lot of thought and love went into planning their wedding. They were very cooperative and allowed me to get some great images that I hope they will enjoy for many years.
The day started at the Spa ni’joli & salon in Methuen, MA where the gracious and talented staff prepared make-up and hair for the bride, her mom, and bridesmaids. That morning, the groom had a gorgeous diamond watch delivered to his bride to be. The story is that, months earlier, Austin had noticed Megan’s reaction when she first saw it, and had been planning the surprise since then.
As I got to know Katie, Danielle, Natalie, and Jen (aka The Bridesmaids) I knew this was going to be a fun group. And they were all very enthusiastic about getting great photographs for the bride and groom. The ceremony was at Saint Williams Church in Tewksbury, MA and was a beautiful service.
When we arrived at the Andover Country Club, we were running a little late, but the staff, especially the event manager, Tracy Pacy, could not have been more gracious or accommodating. An ideal wedding reception site, the Country Club has a beautifully landscaped garden with lots of different photo opportunities. I have posted some of my early favorites from the day.
